Old MacDonald Love Story Times - Fall Story and Craft Session

Mother/Daughter Book Group
The group meets bimonthly. Meetings are held on Saturday afternoons at 2:00pm. Mother/grandmothers/caregivers and their daughters (ages 8 to 13) meet and discuss age appropriate books. If you are interested, please call Miss Stephanie at 610-258-7492.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2:00pm. Moms and girls can read any book about Helen Keller. We are focusing on biographies for this meeting. Come to the discussion and share with us something you learned about this remarkable woman!
In March we will be reading the book , “I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You” by Ally Carter, a YA best-selling author of The Gallagher Girls series! Join us for this fun-filled discussion! Please call ahead if you plan on attending to ensure we have enough free giveaways when they are available.

Young Adult Group
The Young Adult Book Group meets bimonthly on Saturdays at 2:00pm. This group is geared toward ages 11-15. Upcoming titles include:
October 15, 2011, The Cross Over by Scott Morro. Mr. Morro will be present during this discussion. He will talk to us about writing this book as well as share some of the haunted places in our area! Join us for this fun, spooky time!!! Call the library if you plan to attend at 610-258-7492. Mr. Morro’s book, The Cross Over is available for sale at the Palmer Library for $8.00. Books will be signed after the discussion!
December 10, 2012, The Patron Saint of Butterflys by Cecelia Galante. Miss Ashley, leader of this YA book group personally met with Ms Galante. She will share with you the author’s comments on her book.
February 4, 2012, The Hunger Games #1: Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This popular book has 3 additional sequels. Read the book to find out why it has become a best-seller!
