Millennium Search System
The Easton Area Public Library, along with Bethlehem Area Public Library, Allentown Public Library, and Reeves Library of Moravian College, also known as the Lehigh Valley Library System, formed in 2001 and is now offering a new automation system called Millennium. During the past few months, the staff of the EAPL has trained to learn this new, updated system. We would like to thank our patrons for their patience and understanding during our transitional time. Patrons can search the library's collection through Webpac Pro or Encore. Both searching databases are easy to use and will allow the user many more options than our previous system, Horizon. Try our new searching catalog by accessing our website at www.eastonpl.org. If you do not already have a PIN number, login and create an account.
Would you like to be notified by email days before your library items are due? If you share your email address with us (it will be kept confidential), we will send you a notice via email. Call the branch at 610-258-7492, and we will be happy to include you on our email notice list.

2009 - 2010 Fiscal Year Statistics
The Palmer Branch circulated 123,605 items during the 2009 - 2010 fiscal year (up by 18.5%) and signed up 950 new patrons. We continue to show increase in all areas within the library such as programs, attendance and circulation. During hard economic times, libraries throughtout the nation all show an increase in use. Our community library is no different. Our internet stations are a great help to job searches and our free DVDs are an added bonus to our patrons.
