 January 19, 2005 - The U.S. Postal Service has opened a substation at George's Market in the Crown Plaza on Tatamy Road. Postal officials are looking to provide service to the nothern part of Palmer and Forks from this station. January 13, 2005 - The township has been notified by the US Census Bureau that they will be conducting yearly survey of a sampling of households in the township. The objective of this change is to be able to provide socio-economic information every year, rather than just once a decade. For more infomation click here.
