The township is now getting ready for the 2008 pool season. This year the pool will be open Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 12:30 pm, for the Memorial Day weekend and will then be open on weekends until the regular season begins the day after the Easton Area School District closes for the summer.
The pool will be closing August 24, 2008, at 8:00 pm, and will reopen on Friday, August 29, 2008, at 12:30 pm for the Labor Day Weekend. The final day of the year will be Monday, September 1, 2008, with closing at 5:00 pm.

A family is defined as two adults and four children. An additional charge of $20.00 per child over 5 years of age for families with five or more children.
For a season membership fill out the application above and mail it along with a check or money order made out to: Palmer Township Community Pool and send to PO Box 3598, Palmer, PA 18045. All sales are final with no refunds after June 1st. Season passes must be picked up at the pool. Envelope must be postmarked by May 1, 2007 to receive the lower rate.
The township is allowing the Palmer Swim Team to once again use the pool facilities this season. This includes morning practice and home meets in the evening. Meets will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 pm. All team members must be season ticket holders.
2008 Pool Happenings
- Family Nights - Friday, June 27th and Friday, July 25th
- Dances - Monday, July 7th and Monday, August 4th
- Swimming lessons will be available for a $15.00 charge per child. $20 charge for non-members. Details will be available at the pool.
Some Important Details
- All passes must be turned in at the door for admittance.
- Mutilated passes will not be accepted. Duplicate passes will cost $5.00.
- Season tickets are not transferable and improper use will be a violation and will result in revocation of the pass and a $5.00 penalty charge will be assessed for the return of the pass.
- Rules and regulations for safe swimming and diving are posted in the pool area and will be strictly enforced. Please make an effort for all pass holders in your family to know them.
- Children eleven (11) years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- The pool will be open daily at 12:30 PM Closing time is 8:00 PM if weather or attendances warrants.
- The last day that the pool will be open will be Labor Day, closing at 5:00 PM
The Township of Palmer will not be responsible for the loss of any personal items or personal injury of any kind.
