When obtaining a permit to construct driveways or to resurface a driveway, a sketch layout of the project must be presented to the Palmer Township Building Department.
New construction and resurfacing will require permits before the work is started. The sketch plan must include the dimension of the driveway being constructed or resurfaced, and the distances to any property line. No driveway may encroach any closer than five feet to a side property line, and no driveway may be more than twenty-four feet wide without a zoning hearing.
