The Zoning Hearing Board is made up of three members who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The staff who serve the Board include the Solicitor and the Zoning Officer. Each member of the Board serves a three year term. Meetings take place the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 7:30 pm. The meetings are held in the Palmer Library Community Room.
The function of the Board is to hear appeals of the Zoning Officers decisions, hold hearings and rule on variance requests of the Zoning Ordinance and hold hearings and rule on special exception requests of the Zoning Ordinance.
