Meeting Minutes – April 20, 2006

Attendees: Larry Bonner, Tom Dittmar, Tom Ganssle, Ron Kantor, Nancy Nicholas, Cindy Oatis, John Olock, Rob Reese, Jo-Ann Stoneback, Denise Veres, Andy Yost, Bob Lammi (Supervisor and Liaison)

Meeting was opened at 7:05 P.M.

Approval of Minutes: Minutes were approved from the March 16, 2006 ESC meeting

(JS&TD).

Recycling Coordinator’s Report: Cindy Oatis informed us that during its first week of availability the recycling center's front end loader filled 16 small and 9 full size loads of free mulch.

We are still waiting to see what our 904 grant award will be this year. The state has started to notify those who applied.

Old Business:

Bushkill Stream Conservancy: Rob Reese reminded everyone that this Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day. Anyone wanting to participate can meet at Penn Pump Park on Saturday morning.

E-cycling Event: Despite poor weather, cold, rain and snow, the EAHS student run E-cycling event was a big success.

New Business: none.

Curb Waste and Recycling Contract: The subcommittee working on the next bid and contract reviewed their work with the entire committee.

Next Meeting: May 18, 2006 at the Palmer Municipal Building at 7:00 PM.
