PALMER TOWNSHIP RECREATION BOARD

September 19, 2006

The regular monthly meeting of the Palmer Township Recreation Board was held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in the Palmer Library Building with 3 members in attendance; Walker, Nielsen and Young. There was no quorum so no decisions could be made. Chairman Walker opened the meeting.

TREASURER’S REPORT– Members reviewed the report that Knox had submitted. You reviewed the changes that were to be made and everything was okay.

REPORTS -

SOFTBALL – Young mentioned that they could use a bigger box at Field #2.

WRESTLING – Young reviewed what was discussed at the meeting with the Board of Supervisors. The mats from Palmer School and the Palmer Municipal Building will be taken to the Community Center. Some practices will be held in gym area and others will be held in the gym area. The matches will be held in the gym area. No new mats will be purchased. Kemie Heckman gave color coated chart of where to place things.

SOCCER – Nielsen noted the League is going good.

BUDGET – Walker noted nothing has been handed in so there is no discussion.

Walker adjourned the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
