MINUTES OF ZONING HEARING BOARD MEETING

 

The zoning hearing board of Palmer Township met on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 7:30 P.M. in the Palmer Memorial Library, One Weller Place, to hear the following appeals.  In attendance Nicholas Noel III, Esq., Zoning Board Solicitor, Charles Roseberry, Board Chairman, Cherie Kavanaugh Board Member, Peg Kennedy Alternate Board Member substituting for Dan Caravetta Board Member, James Raudenbush, Zoning Officer, and Court Reporter Ted Rewak. 

 

Cherie Kavanaugh made a motion to accept the minutes of the January 5, 2010, zoning hearings.  The motion was seconded by Charles Roseberry, with all in agreement.

 

 

10-02 7:50 p.m. M9SW1-18-11,12,13, Tim McLaughlin, 40 Waltman Loop Lane, Easton, Pa 18042 is seeking a special exception from section 190-199 C(2)(a) in order to build a single family detached dwelling on  non-conforming lots of record. The lots are located in a High Density Residential Zoning District.

Witnesses: Tim McLaughlin, Jeff Trapani 316 Carbon St

Action: Cherie Kavanaugh made a motion to grant the special exception to build a single family dwelling on Lots M9SW1-18-11, 12 and 13 meeting all the setbacks depicted on exhibit A-2 at the time of the hearing. The motion was seconded by Peg Kennedy with all in agreement.

 

10-04 7:40 p.m. 3901 Freemansburg Ave/ 838 Stones Crossing Rd., B&P Holdings 2005 City Line Rd, Suite 106 Bethlehem, Pa 18017 is seeking a variance form section 190-215 I in order to have a one year extension on previous zoning variances to obtain permits for the construction of a financial institution. A use variance and dimensional variances for a financial institution were granted by the Zoning Board in April of 2009. This property is located in a Medium Density Residential Zoning District.

Witnesses: Joseph Piperato III, Esq.

Action: Peg Kennedy motioned to approve the variance for a one year extension on zoning variances that were granted on April of 2009 for a financial institution. The motion was seconded by Cherie Kavanaugh with all in agreement.

 

 

Having no further business to discuss, the hearing was adjourned at 8:15p.m.
