Home | Police | Fire | Suburban EMS

The residents of Palmer Township are fortunate to have three excellent emergency management groups within the township. The people within these groups are very well trained and ready to service the needs of the township. The Police Department is full-time that operates 24/7. The Fire Department is all volunteer and responds to emergency calls. Suburban EMS is full-time and volunteer and is separate from the government of Palmer but provides EMS to the entire township. Separate pages have been developed for each and can be reached by clicking in the various links.

Recently the Office of Emergency Management for the township developed the Emergency Operations Plan for the township. The Board of Supervisors adopted this plan on April 21, 2003. A summary of this plan is included on this site. The full plan can be viewed by contacting the Emergency Management Coordinator at the Police Department.
