Police | Fire | Suburban EMS

Suburban Emergency Medical Service (SEMS) was chartered in June 1953. At that time Suburban was headquarted in the Palmer Fire Company on 27th St. in Palmer Township. SEMS provides emergency medical service to Palmer Township, Wilson and West Easton and is a separate organization from the municipalities. Currently headquartered on Freemansburg Ave. SEMS has 38 career EMT/EMT-P and 18 volunteer EMT/EMT-P. They have a full range of emergency vehicles and equipment that includes four ambulances fully equipped with state of the art technology, three accessible transport vans and one command vehicle.

On the occasion of their 50th Anniversary the Palmer Township Board of Supervisors presented a plaque to Suburban. Dave Colver, Chairman of the BOS presents the plaque to members of the Board of Directors of Suburban EMS.
