The Two Rivers Council of Governments, which Palmer Township is a member, is sponsoring an electronic recycling event in conjunction with the Palmer Township Environmental Steering Committee on May 3rd. Click here for details and be sure to begin stockpiling your "electronic junk" and don't put into the waste stream.

Recently the township received a recycling performance grant in the amount of $146,552 from the Commonwealth. This shows that recycling does pay.

The graphs used to track the performance of the residential waste recycling program in Palmer Township have been updated for the full year 2007. We have seen a slight increase in the recycling percentage from the all time low in 2006 and we need to keep this upward trend continuing.

Many times when someone is moving into the area they look at the municipal web sites to find out about a community. Four short videos were made to give them an idea of what Palmer Township can offer. These videos were produced by the company that manages the pole banner program in various areas of the township at no cost to the township.
