State Grant Received

Palmer Township is pleased to announce that we received a $5,000 state grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development program.  A special thanks to the efforts of Senator Robert Wonderling for securing this grant for us and also to the Palmer Township Recreation Board for their part in applying for the grant.  Palmer Township used this money to help purchase a piece of equipment (Smithco) that is used for maintenance work on our ball fields.  Without this grant money it would have been difficult to purchase this piece of equipment that is helpful in maintaining our ball fields. To the right Bobby Van Horn puts the Smithco to work on one of the fields.
