In October 2009, Northampton County held a household hazardous waste drop-off event. Below are the materials that were accepted and not accepted for your information. Latex-based paints
Paints should be hardened by using cat litter or waste paint hardener. Keep lid off and put in normal trash.
Motor oil, antifreeze and car batteries
Should be taken to a local service station or call (610) 559-3200 for disposal options.
