Recreation Advisory Board Vacancy
The Recreation Advisory Board advises the Palmer Township Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors on the location of parks within new township developments, coordinates activities with the Palmer Township Athletic Association, and coordinates use of various athletic facilities throughout the township.

Part-Time Community Center and Parks Staff
The Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township is seeking a part-time employee to assist with operations at both the Community Center and Palmer Parks during the summer months. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a community-focused environment and is comfortable with a mix of indoor and outdoor responsibilities. Responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing Palmer Township park rules and regulations, overseeing front desk operations at the Community Center, and helping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at the Youth Center. The role also involves assisting with event setup and breakdown at both locations and performing general maintenance tasks, which may require lifting and moving up to 30 pounds.
Applicants must have a valid PA driver’s license and previous work experience demonstrating responsibility and reliability. Flexibility is important, as the position requires availability for evenings and weekends. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent community service are essential. Additionally, three references are required.
