Bike / Walking Path System

Bike/Walking Path Within the township there is approximately 12 miles of path; however, if you add in the inter-municipal system that exists in the region the path extends for many more miles.

The northern point of the path begins with the connection to the path in Tatamy. The path runs south along the Bushkill Creek and passes through a small section of Forks Township before reentering Palmer. The path continues past the Binney Smith complex and enters Easton's Hackett Park.

From there it travels through Wilson Borough and reenters Palmer at Easton Area High School. From there it passes to the west along Fairview Park and enters Bethlehem Township on it way to the Lehigh River. The path then turns east returning to Palmer and ends at Riverview Park. From that point on you can continue along the path into Wilson and across the Lehigh River where it connects to the Hugh Moore bike path in Easton.

The map below shows the bike/walking paths in the township along with the parks and tot lot locations. For a more detailed map click here.
